Baked Mushrooms and Kale

Pre heat oven: 350 degrees F

4 cups mushrooms, cleaned and removed of all dirt and cut into 2
2 cups chopped kale *
½ teaspoon pepper
Salt
Oil

Sauté mushrooms in oil. Add washed, chopped kale leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
Arrange in dish, and pour the sauce over it.Bake at 350 degrees for ½ an hour or till the top turns slightly golden brown.
Sauce

1 ½ cups milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
½ cup grated cheese-I used Parmesan
¼ teaspoon garlic, minced
Black pepper
Salt

Bring the milk to a boil. Take off heat once bubbles start forming at the edge of the pan. Cover and keep side.
Heat butter in a pan and add garlic and cook till light brown. Add flour, stir to mix well to form the roux. Lower heat and add milk-slowly, stirring with a wire whisk. Add cheese. Season with salt and pepper.Cook for a few minutes. Set aside.

*Use chopped spinach instead of kale if you want.
