Mango Pachadi

Mango Pachadi
1 semi ripe mango, diced
½ cup whipped yogurt
¼ cup grated coconut
½ teaspoon grated ginger
3-4 shallots
2-3 green chillies ,chopped
¼ teaspoon mustard seeds
¼ teaspoon cumin powder
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1-2 dry red chillis
Curry leaves
Salt
2 teaspoons oil ( I used coconut)
Grind to a fine paste the grated coconut ,ginger and cumin seeds. Cook mango along with green chilli, turmeric powder, salt and 1/4 cup of water for few minutes. Add the ground coconut to it, mix well.Simmer for a minute .Remove the pan from heat.Cool.
Once cool. Add whipped yogurt-mix well.
For seasoning, heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
Add shallots, dried chillies and curry leaves.Add to mango-coconut mixture.Serve warm with steamed rice...
